AutoPartSource's unique VGX Brake Pad Program includes Semi-Metallic, Ceramic, Severe Duty and soon to be released Non-Asbestos Organic. Each line of pads feature proprietary friction formulas, aluminum shims and a patented shim attachment process resulting in a noiseless, extremely low dusting brake pad with industry leading performance and wear characteristics. AutoPartSource's VGX Brake Pad Program is the only line to offer 100% mechanically attached shims. In addition, these integrally molded pads follow original equipment design specifications in areas such as chamfering, slotting and wear sensor design. AutoPartSource also offers a VGX "Clamshell" Brake Pad Kit. These kits come complete with everything necessary to do a trouble free brake job: VGX Semi-Metallic Pads with shim attached, a complete hardware kit and a tube of caliper grease. All components are shrink-wrapped on protective cardboard and placed inside an informative graphic box. For the economy minded, AutoPartSource.s Performance Plus line offers metallic and non-asbestos organic brake pads without shims. These brake pads are manufactured with the same time-tested formula as their great performing VGX counterparts. The different pad grades are denoted by their prefix:

  • CE - Ceramic
  • MF - Metallic
  • SD - Severe Duty
  • PMF - Performance Plus Metallic
  • PF - Performance Plus Non-Asbestos Organic

The VGX "clamshell" Brake Pad Kit is denoted with a K following the part number, for example MF242K.

For our economy conscious customer, we also offer our Performance Plus brake drums and rotors. Manufactured in China under strict ISO standards, Performance Plus drums and rotors meet or exceed all original equipment standards. The different drums and rotors are denoted by their prefix:

AutoPartSource.s Complete Clutch Kit Program offers a full range of coverage for both Import and Domestic car and light truck applications. Using only the highest quality products available, each Clutch Kit contains everything needed to do the job right: Clutch Disc, Pressure Plate, Release Bearing, Pilot Bushing/Bearing, (where required), Alignment Tool, Spline Grease, and specific tech bulletins. To help ensure a trouble free job, torque specs for each application are conveniently printed on the bottom of the box. For ultimate protection during shipment, all the components are shrink-wrapped to a protective cardboard insert, and placed inside a graphic box. Complementing the Complete Clutch Kit Program, AutoPartSource offers a full line of clutch hydraulic slave and master cylinders as well as a full line of clutch cables. The different clutch components are denoted by their prefix:
