Bruce Mardar has joined the team

AutoPartSource has named Bruce Mardar Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Before joining AutoPartSource, Mardar spent the past 5 years as Eastern Regional Sales Manager for Akebono Brake and previously was National Sales Manager at Qualitee International for 9 years. “Bruce brings significant experience, knowledge, and a true passion for the industry,” says John Amalfe, President of AutoPartSource. “We’re excited to have Bruce leading our Sales and Marketing efforts and look forward to him directing our Sales Team to success.”

Ownership change at AutoPartSource

Effective February 23, 2007, the company has been acquired by Amalfe Brothers Inc. of New Jersey. The former President of AutoPartSource, Frank Pagano, will focus his attention on Coni-Seal Inc. and its Global sourcing initiatives. He has sold all of his interest in AutoPartSource and New World Friction to Amalfe Brothers Inc. Amalfe Brothers Inc. is a family owned business with over 60 years of automotive aftermarket experience that includes manufacturing, wholesale distribution and retail operations. Amalfe Brothers Inc. will provide new opportunities to enhance the capabilities of AutoPartSource and will also provide new capital to expand the current product offerings. Amalfe Brothers Inc. has selected John Paul Amalfe as the President of AutoPartSource. The management team at AutoPartSource is excited about the new growth opportunities that this acquisition will provide to the company.
