Director of Operations
Lloyd Smith is an experienced manager who spent thirty years with AT&T and Lucent Technologies doing planning, inventory control, customer service and distribution. His most significant achievements at APS are the physical modernization of the warehouse and the simplification of daily processes including the use of bar code scanning technology to control parts and check outgoing orders. On a more personal note, Lloyd is an accomplished golfer and would welcome the opportunity to "work in a round" for customers visiting our facility.

Vicky has over 25 years of administrative/accounting experience. From starting her career in the auditing department of the Federal Reserve Bank to serving over 14 years with Qualitee International, Vicky enjoys the challenges of working in accounting. Vicky was the Office/Credit Manager with Qualitee International and was promoted to Director of Finance and Administration of AutoPartSource. She enjoys the "work family" relationship she has with the employees of AutoPartSource and it is those relationships that make coming to work fun! Vicky strongly feels that the customer/vendor relationship is important too and works hard to keep overdue accounts to a minimum. "I feel that if AutoPartSource ships the parts, then the customer should pay promptly" We are not a "guaranteed sale" distributor, therefore, prompt payments are a key to a solid relationship with the Accounting Department." In her off time, Vicky enjoys spending time with her family, pets and friends. Vicky also enjoys sipping on fine wines - or any wine to end a stressful day!

Lenny Chapman

Lenny has 27 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket, beginning his career in Akron, Ohio where he managed a tire center for eleven years before going to work for one of his suppliers. Moving to the WD level in 1989, Lenny worked as a Territory Sales Manger for a large wholesale distributor located in Cleveland, Ohio. Soon he was asked to manage one of their hard part divisions in the beautiful state of Virginia. After ten years of service as a WD, Lenny joined AutoPartSource (formerly Qualitee International), in 1998. Lenny started with Qualitee as a Field Service Specialist, moving quickly to National Accounts Manager after one year with the company. Promoted to his current position in February of 2005, Lenny states, "My experience through all levels of distribution has helped me to better understand the needs of our customers. It is important to always be approachable and ready to listen to what the customer has to say. Each distributor is the real expert knowing what will work in his/her local area. In order to be helpful and to have the successes we all want, most times all you have to do is listen, and then figure out how to fulfill that need!"

Luke Smith

Director of IT
Luke has been with AutoPartSource (and the former Qualitee) since 2001. His interests include embedded computing/machine control, live audio and horn-loaded speaker design. Luke is proficient in C, PHP, RPG, VisualBasic and various assembly languages. Luke is a firm believer in open-source development and open standards. He holds two Associate's degrees (Computer Electronics / Electronic Controls), and is working toward his BS in Electrical Engineering Technology at Old Dominion University in his spare time.
